Fraud prevention and detection is becoming of paramount importance in todays economic and business environment. Those 'red flags' or indicators can manifest themselves both in the person of the fraudster or thieve as in your administration.Participants will be armed with enough material to start with the design and implementation of fraud prevention and detection policies and measures in their business.

In nowadays workplace the use of computers, internet facilities and all kinds of mobile data carriers is standard. Besides that more and more, the world is taken by the social web. Using real life cases and case scenarios, facts and questions will provide participants a peek into the world of digital crime and abuse as well as the inherent risks associated with careless use of modern day facilities. Time and time again it is proven that your weakest link in information security is the human and not the technology.
A better understanding of such things as social engineering, password policies, acceptable use of computer and internet facilities, fishing, spam, malware, viruses, social and business networking online and other risks associated with uncontrolled use of computer facilities in your business.
The workshop aims to enhance the awareness of you or your employees about the risks and downright dangers associated with the use of computers, internet facilities, mobile and portable devices for your business. More importantly we will address how to deal with and manage these risks in a not overtly technical sense.
